John Goodin - New Director Risk Assessment
Pinchin Environmental is pleased to announce that John Goodin has joined the company as National Director, Risk Assessment, based in Mississauga, Ontario.
John, who is a QPRA (Qualified Person for Risk Assessment), has over two decades of experience as an environmental consultant. For the past three years he has been building and leading a risk assessment division at a leading international ground engineering and environmental firm.
John’s combination of education—he holds an M.Sc. in biological science, is a Chartered Chemist who has completed numerous professional industry courses—and depth of experience in a wide range of human health and ecological settings, will be of great benefit to Pinchin clients in determining their risk assessment options. A leader in the field, John has delivered numerous papers and workshops on topics such as uranium site decommissioning and managing industrial hygiene risks.
As a key player in Pinchin’s Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation services, John will work with clients across the country on a wide variety of risk assessment projects, including the management of contaminated sites, soil vapour intrusion issues and indoor air quality testing. Each site risk assessment will typically involve a problem formulation, toxicity assessment, exposure assessment and risk characterization step.

New Appointment Allows Pinchin to Offer Total Solutions to Clients
Under the direction of Vico Paloschi, Pinchin’s Vice-President of Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation, the group is experiencing tremendous growth. “Our goal is to provide a complete continuum of services in the due diligence, risk assessment and remediation service area,” Vico says. “With John coming on board and Bob Tossell, as our Director of National Remediation Services, we are now able to offer in-depth knowledge and experience, combined with a real commitment to providing total solutions for our clients.” he continues. Bob has over two decades of experience, and has worked on some of North America’s most complex remediation programs.
