Mental Health Awareness Month 2025: Embracing Awareness and Support
May is Mental Health Awareness Month in Canada, a time dedicated to recognizing the importance of mental health and well-being. This month serves as a reminder to prioritize mental health, combat stigma, and foster open discussions about mental health issues.

Spring and Mental Health
Spring brings longer days and more sunlight, which can alleviate symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and improve overall mood. The season encourages engagement with nature, offering therapeutic benefits such as reduced stress and anxiety. However, transitioning from winter to spring can be overwhelming for some, so it's important to adjust at your own pace. Embracing the changes of spring can boost mental well-being, but it's essential to approach the season with self-awareness and compassion.
